It may start to feel like Kid’s Day is every day. That’s the premise I presented to my kids when they shit the bed on being kind on Mother’s Day.
This tip I present to you is not new to most of you. I’ve discussed at many playgrounds the fact that frequently I realize the next thing I drink after coffee isn’t water, but wine. Or beer. Or tequila. You get the point.
I say, just accept it. It may be a coping mechanism for feeling like every day is Kid’s Day and no day is ever for you. I get it. You may truly like coffee and wine. I get that too.
Most likely, your coffee is cold because you never had a chance to finish it. Embrace it! Through some cubes in it and call it iced coffee. That’s how you get some water in before the inevitable wine fest around bedtime. Or dinner time. Or lunch (we’re not judging!). And try better tomorrow, or the day after.
Are you able to get more drinks in during the day besides coffee and alcohol? Tell us! Comment below or continue the conversation on the Bleeping Motherhood Facebook page.
I live on copious amounts of diet soda. I know it’s bad for me, so I change it to different flavors throughout the day so that I don’t feel like its a problem!
