Don’t bother opening that cheese slice.

Assuming your little one did want you to open it, you probably won’t open it right. You will probably, in his or her eyes, open it upside down, too much from one end or the other.

Then it is ruined.

Forever.

If you do happen to open it just right, chances are he or she will have changed their mind, not wanting it in the first place. The little bit of plastic they will ingest from biting it open themselves may be totally worth it in the long run.

Let’s remember this one important rule, and you can likely avoid 95% of all tantrums. THEY are the boss. YOU are the asshole.
