Easter is a time for celebration as we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus.

It is also an opportunity to scare little children with large, costumed, human bunny rabbits.

Since my children were babies, I’ve taken them to the mall to get a photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

Here’s a tip. If you want to go the extra mile on April Fool’s Day this Easter, rent yourself one of those bunny costumes. When the kids wake up on Easter morning, jump out at them wearing the bunny outfit.

Scream and wave your hands like a lunatic. Then, when they’re just on the verge of tears, take the bunny head off and scream, April Fool’s Day!
