Have you read The Toothless Puppy A Tale of Differences by Karen and Ashley Almon?
This story of a golden retriever takes us on her journey of trying to find her missing tooth. She explores various feelings as she feels different because of her long lost tooth. She quickly discovers that being different isn’t that bad after all.
It’s OK to be different. Isn’t that a life lesson that we should all learn? Especially for our kids?
I think this book is a great way to explore this topic to children. It’s not something that comes up often in every day situations, and I was very pleased to read this with my two children, (3 and 5). Get your copy of The Toothless Puppy on Amazon.com
