Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday for my husband.  No wonder – I spend a week buying his favorite food and alcohol, cleaning the house, and then his family comes over for his favorite meal.  One year, only one relative came over, and ate sparingly because they were going to another Thanksgiving afterwards.  I spent a week going through all of the Thanksgiving machinations for one guest to eat half a plate of turkey and I still had to wear a bra?  Where’s the justice in all of that?

It’s those stories and more that make this a stressful time for many moms.  And we feel your pain.
