Bleeping Motherhood is kicking off TWO NEW incredible series this summer.
The first is called “My Beautiful Disaster”. (Sounds dangerously exciting.)
The second is called “The Roller Coaster”. (Won’t cause vomiting.)
Wondering what all this means?
Well, if you’re a person who lives in a house, who has a kid or two, or five, barely eats a full meal without getting interrupted, showers infrequently, doesn’t get a lot of time to yourself, wearing the same clothes for 3 days in a row, haven’t brushed your teeth yet today, hates stepping on legos, sink is full of dishes, dinner is burning on the stove, fire alarm is sounding, forgot to send in the kid’s permission slip, has 7 loads of laundry to fold, can’t find your car keys, all out of tampons on heaviest flow day, haven’t bought new mascara since 2013, eyebrows could really use some TLC…
BUT
You wouldn’t have it any other way. Because you’re a mom. And you love your kids to the moon and back.
When the house is a mess, some people might say, “Yikes”. Most people don’t care. To a mom, it is what it is. “My Beautiful Disaster” will showcase what it’s REALLY like in the family home from a mother’s perspective. You’ll get a REAL, artistic view of daily life with the use of images taken around our home that only a mom can appreciate. From toys tossed all over the floor, to leftover breakfast all over the wall, every mother can relate. It’s beautiful, it’s a disaster, it’s motherhood.
Speaking of Motherhood. It’s the roller coaster ride that no one really told you about. You think it’s going to be one way. And for brief moments in time, it is. But then, with a flip of a switch, it’s totally the opposite. You may be joyfully telling another mom about the adorable thing your toddler did on a Monday, then on Tuesday, you’re screaming in agony because, well if you’re a mom, you know exactly what I’m talking about. “The Roller Coaster” will showcase real, raw moments in time that depict just that. The roller coaster of motherhood. The images will accompany the “self-talk” that we so often have going on in our heads. The good, the bad, the ugly. The ups, the downs, the sideways, the diagonals. Strap in. “The Roller Coaster” will tap into everything you’re thinking as a mom. You will never again have to wonder…”is it just me?”

For me, it is more every 15 minutes instead of every other day. 🙂
