Here’s a guided meditation video to help you relax! If you do not know how to meditate, don’t worry. The video will guide you. Just take 15 minutes or so to take some time for YOUR SELF and do this.
If you simply can’t make the time, just know that meditation can take place anywhere, any time. Even in the chaos of your day with Curious George on the TV and the kids screaming bloody murder. The key, is to just clear your mind and breathe. You can even meditate sitting in traffic. Just remember, all you have to do is clear your mind and take a few, slow, deep breathes. Try it now. I’ll wait.
Clear your mind (STOP THINKING). If thoughts come into your mind, don’t judge them. Just notice the thought, then ignore it, and go back to non-thinking. Now take 3 or 4 deep breathes.
You should do this all day long. Or whenever you realize that you have mindless chatter going on inside of your head. If you are diligent and practice, you can literally mediate all day long. The benefits of clearing your mind are HUGE!
You don’t want to ignore this.
So whenever you feel overwhelmed, just give yourself a “Time Out”. Stop thinking. And Breathe. Do this enough, and you will go through your day with a clearer head, a more positive mental attitude and when you run into a “problem”, the solutions will come quicker.
